
The ICAI will soon open the examination form portal for the CA Intermediate candidates, i.e., from 21 February 2022. The students who have already filled out the CA Intermediate registration form will fill out the Examination Form. The student needs to carefully choose the CA Intermediate subjects in the registration form since they can appear in either or both groups at once.

Eligibility for Registration in CA Intermediate course
Before moving to fill out the registration form, the candidates must make sure that whether they are eligible to appear in CA Intermediate exam or not. Also, the students need to prove their eligibility before registering themselves with ICAI. So, let us check the eligibility criteria for a candidate willing to appear in the CA Intermediate Exam.
- There is no minimum or upper age limit or criteria to appear in CA Intermediate Exam.
- The candidate must have qualified for the CA Foundation Exam or any equivalent exam by ICSI or ICMAI or must have completed graduation/postgraduation.
- Students who are in the final year of Graduation can also register themselves for CA Intermediate Course.
CA Intermediate Registration Procedure & Fees
To appear for the CA Intermediate Exam, all the candidates must register with ICAI. There are two ways to do so for all the candidates who are willing to register for the CA Intermediate exam. They can either follow the direct entry route or the Foundation Route. The candidates who have cleared the CA Foundation Exam do not have to complete their graduation or post-graduation. Such students can register through Foundation Course. But the students who did not appear in the CA Foundation course must complete their graduation or post-graduation for the direct entry route. Now, to register yourself with ICAI, you can follow the steps given below:
- Open the ICAI website and click on the SSP portal in the top menu.
- Create your account and log in with the same credentials.
- Now, click on the Student SSP portal.
- Click on the Student Cycle.
- In the new page that appears in front of you, click on either “Intermediate through Foundation” or Direct Entry as per your eligibility.
- Next, you need to fill in all the basic details asked in the form along with your qualification.
- Now, upload the documents accordingly and click on Save and Next.
- In the next step Generate OTP and enter it along with the captcha and click on next.
- Next, the payment window will open where you need to pay the payment and complete the registration.
Documents Required for CA Intermediate Registration 2022
There are various documents that the students need to upload while filling out the CA Intermediate Registration Form. So, you must keep these documents handy with yourself. The major documents that you need for entry through CA Foundation include I’D proof, CA Foundation Result, Scanned photographs and signature, 10th 12th mark sheet, etc. The students opting for direct entry should have all the same documents required by those who are applying through CA Foundation. But instead of the CA Foundation result, they should have the mark sheet of their Graduation or post-graduation.

Almost around 14 days before the CA Intermediate Exam, the Admit Cards of the CA Intermediate is released. So, the students who have filled out the CA Intermediate Form and the registration form can get it. Altogether, you need to open the ICAI website and download your Admit card online. Follow the steps below to download your CA Intermediate, Admit Card.
- Open the official ICAI portal i.e. icaiexam.icai.org.
- Now, click on the register option and enter the login credentials.
- You will be able to see the “Download CA Intermediate Admit Card” on the second page.
- View your Admit Card and cross-check the information in the CA Inter Admit Card.
- Now, if you do not find any errors in your admit card, then you can download it.
- If you find any errors in the admit card, you can contact the ICAI helpdesk.
